Trojan Electric Brake Duofit Coupling 3,500kg

A heavy-duty Trojan Duofit plunger coupling rated to 3,500kg, for trailers with electric brakes or another driver-operated brake system. It fits both 50mm and 1-7/8" towballs and uses the same mounting as Trojan override couplings.

Compatibility

• Towball: 50mm or 1-7/8". Your towball and towbar must also be rated for the trailer's weight.
• Brakes: electric brakes or a driver-operated brake system, such as the Elecbrakes EB2. It has no override mechanism, so it won't operate surge (override) brakes; for those, see the Trojan Duofit hydraulic override coupling.
• Weight: up to 3,500kg.
• Drawbar: bolts straight onto the TC40 182 x 54mm pattern, so it can replace a Trojan override coupling without re-drilling.

Fitting notes

• Mount with four 12mm high-tensile bolts, as Trojan recommends.
• Tighten to Trojan's recommended torque for the bolt grade:
